As it turns out, I’m friends with a whole lot of obscenely talented, clever people, who tend to pretty much kick ass at what they do and make me look even more shamelessly mediocre by comparison. This page is to basically serve as a big list of places for you to obsessively follow because you’re missing out if you don’t, and, well, because I say so.
Oh, one more thing! If you call this a blogroll I will hit you so hard.
Some people collect stamps. Some people spend their life savings on the poker table. Some people even attempt to marry and engage in coitus with inanimate objects. Shady’s obsession is 1990s CD-ROM games, usually of the kind that nobody’s thought about in decades. Some good interviews, amusing discoveries and well-written ponderings on the era ensure!
By combining a single platform with a strong, active publisher, Hare believed the CD-i could instantly find a market that would expand as more niche titles were produced. He just happened to be the one producing them. Without results from these CD-ROMs, Fathom would go out of business. “There’s a lot of blood on the floor here,” he acknowledged, “much of it mine.”
It takes a strange, obsessive little man with an eye for quality and gameplay to make Doom mods that somehow still make headlines on major gaming sites so many years after Doom’s release. Cutty is that man, and he’s often delivered with Ghouls vs. Humans and Megaman 8-Bit Deathmatch. A good man to throw ideas at.
Two teams each with 5 unique player classes and over 30 maps to do battle on, GVH consumed players and has been played constantly for over a year. Expansions, patches and new features keeps the battle between Human and Ghoul going. Now with v2 all the expansions are merged into one single package. There’s no better time to join the slaughter!
A coder friend of mine who enjoys taking things apart so that he can put them back together again in slightly different ways. Whatever works I suppose!
Fuck your custom formats, GameLoft!
Hello I Am Internet
My magnificent host, who for some reason has nothing on his site whatsoever. Magical.
